Project Management
Over the course of my career I have managed and been a part of numerous projects. At MedAmerica I
managed a large scale rewrite of the MedAmerica website and its associated applications. Over the last
several years I have focused on agile projects and have become scrum certified. I have served as scrum
master on several healthcare projects and been involved at all levels of the agile process.
I am a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Certified Scrum Master
A Certified ScrumMaster® helps project teams properly use Scrum, increasing the likelihood of the project's overall success. CSMs understand Scrum values, practices, and applications and provide a level of knowledge and expertise above and beyond that of typical project managers. CSMs act as "servant leaders," helping the rest of the Scrum team work together and learn the Scrum framework. CSMs also protect the team from both internal and external distractions.
Project Management Professional
PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential is the most important industry-recognized certification for project managers. Globally recognized and demanded, the PMP® demonstrates that you have the experience, education and competency to lead and direct projects.
